Nylon cord

Nylon cord

Round braid and solid braid nylon cord for higher-strength applications in a variety of colors.

Materials
Nylon
Higher strength and abrasion resistance than polypropylene. Used in round braid and solid braid constructions for applications requiring durability and load capacity.
Polypropylene
Lightweight, low-stretch cord that resists moisture and UV degradation. The most widely used material for drawcord and flat lace applications. Available in the widest color range.
Nylon sheath / rubber core
Standard shock cord construction. A braided nylon sheath over a natural rubber core. Good elasticity and recovery across a wide temperature range.
Latex-free
Shock cord constructed without natural rubber latex. Suitable for medical, orthopedic, and sensitive-contact applications where latex exposure is a concern.

Constructions
Shock cord
Elastic cord with a braided outer sheath over a rubber or latex-free core. Stretches under load and returns to original length when released. Used for closures and retention and tensioning.
Round braid / solid braid
Non-elastic round cord for drawcord and structural applications. Slides cleanly through channels and cord locks. Available in polypropylene and nylon.
Flat lace
Flat woven cord that lies low in a channel and does not roll or twist. Used for lacing panels, cable management, and applications where a round cord would cause bulk or misalignment.
